9th Annual Children's Festival

Children's Festival
March 23, 1 - 4 p.m.
Festival Fields

It’s that time of year again – time for Fort Rucker’s 9th Annual Children’s Festival! Join for this FREE Military Family event at Festival Fields on Saturday, March 23rd from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Children’s Festival offers tons of fun for children of all ages to include activities, inflatables, crafts, a petting zoo, the Diaper Derby and more. The event also hosts one of the largest Easter Egg Hunts in the area where kids can win candy, prizes and even meet the Easter Bunny!

“This is going to be one of the biggest Children’s Festivals in Fort Rucker history,” says Kimberly Abeln, event coordinator. “In preparation, we’ll be stuffing over 14,000 plastic eggs. We’re looking forward to hosting new interactive activities that the kids are going to love!”

This year’s theme is “Up, Up, and Away!” We invite guests to bring your kites along or make one with us (while supplies last). Join us on the Festival Fields following the Egg Hunts as we fill the sky above with colorful kites.

Think you have the fastest baby on Fort Rucker? Be sure they participate in the 3rd Annual Diaper Derby, open to all crawling babies no older than 15 months. Cheer them on as they race towards the finish line for prizes!
