Join us this July as we celebrate Wiregrass Freedom Fest 2014.
Celebrate
your Independence Day with Fort Rucker! The Wiregrass community is invited to
the Fort Rucker’s Festival Fields on Thursday, July 3rd from 4 pm to 10 pm for
a day of celebration, food, activities and fun!
With over 20,000 people attending this annual event, this is the party
of all parties and no party is complete without fireworks. Enjoy one of the
largest displays in the area; an annual tradition for Families throughout the
Wiregrass.

Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets and kick back and
enjoy the show. Live music by Mockingbird Sun will kick off the festivities
starting at 4 pm.
Enjoy a kids’ zone
with inflatables, rides and a variety of local and regional vendors and
displays.
The 98th Army Silver Wings Band will provide musical entertainment
throughout the evening with a Patriotic Concert starting at 6 pm. Admission to the event is FREE and open to
the public.
There are a few items prohibited at the Wiregrass Freedom Fest 2014,
including no coolers, backpacks (except for medical and baby care items), no
pets, no fireworks of any kind, no glass containers, no weapons (guns, knives,
pepper spray, etc.) and no bicycles, scooters, roller blades or skateboards.
This is for the safety of all patrons.
