Meet our Fort Rucker MWR Family
Our Army Civilians make tremendous contributions for our Soldiers, their Families, and to our Country. Have you ever wondered who's behind the scenes at Fort Rucker MWR? We have an amazing team of Army Civilians that contribute greatly to keeping our installation Above the Best. Today, meet our Marketing Department:
Nikki works in our Marketing Office as our Graphic Designer. A native Californian, Nikki has been with us for a little over seven years. She loves movies, but has to say that Hackers (1995) is her all time favorite movie. HACK THE PLANET! She could watch that movie every day and not get sick of it. She has a deep love for every genre of music, but this week you can catch Betty Who, Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros and Tom Odell blaring on her iPod. Her caffeinated beverage of choice at work is coffee and at home, Red Rose Tea with milk and honey. When she’s not creating awesome designs at work, she enjoys relaxing, putting together puzzles, watching movies and listening to music in her free time.
Janice has been with Fort Rucker MWR for 8 years, and works in our Marketing Office as our MWR Marketing Director. Having lived all over the world, this Tennessee native is happy to now call Enterprise her home. At work, she prefers Coffee Zone's Starbucks Mocha Latte to jump start her day, but you can usually catch her drinking an ice cold Dr. Pepper in the afternoon. Gone with the Wind and The Sound of Music are her all time favorite movies, and you can bet her Pandora app is locked on Lady Antebellum Radio. An interesting tidbit about Janice is that she never misses an opportunity to see what she can find on the Longest Yard Sale in August. Another interesting tidbit is, if you catch an MWR commercial on YouTube or TV, the voice behind the video is usually her husband, John, a local radio personality.
Kristen works in our Marketing Office as our Web/Social Media Marketing Assistant. As the daughter of an Army Apache pilot, Kristen is a proud Army Brat and has been giving back to the Army community with Fort Rucker MWR since October 2013. She loves 80’s comedies, and can quote them perfectly. She is a naturally gifted comedian and we guarantee she can make anyone laugh. People often ask her if something is wrong when they see her drinking anything other than a Coca-Cola-Classic. On her iPod you can usually hear the sounds of Fleet Foxes, Shovels & Rope, Mumford & Sons, and the Alabama Shakes. Away from work, she enjoys traveling, family time, hanging with her pups, and never missing an episode of Wheel of Fortune.
Check back as we spotlight Army Civilians in the Fort Rucker MWR family.
